Capitalism is the virus, socialism is the cure! New shirts in response to Coronavirus

The only motive driving the U.S. response to the coronavirus epidemic is the profit motive not the well being of the people. "The Road to Socialism is Painted Black", a statement by African People's Socialist Party Chairman Omali Yeshitela shows that capitalism was built on Europe's assault on Africa and the enslavement of African people along with the stolen land and genocide of the Indigenous people. Because African people make up the pedestal of capitalism the only true socialism is when the African working class has control over the means of production.

Uhuru Planet supports the Black Power Blueprint and the African workers economy of the Uhuru Movement. Your purchase of an Uhuru Planet shirt is a way of taking a stand for reparations to African people.

Gallery Exhibit a Success!

From September 8th - November 10th 2019, Uhuru Planet Reparations Apparel & Uhuru Solidarity Movement Boston hosted an art auction and gallery exhibit at Diesel Cafe in Davis Sq, Somerville MA. It was a historic opportunity to bring the revolutionary demand of reparations to the white community and put the whole Uhuru Movement on display. We exhibited historical photos of black power campaigns of the Uhuru Movement from the 70’s-90’s, art submitted to the Art For Reparations project, as well as a full pop-up storefront and t-shirt display wall. We deeply thank the folks at Diesel cafe for being so friendly and welcoming to the Uhuru Solidarity Movement and Uhuru Planet for letting us use the wallspace to popularize reparations!
