St. Petersburg FL - Home of the First Act of Black Power T-SHIRT
New shirt launching at the African People’s Socialist Party 2021 Plenary.
This tourist-looking shirt for St Petersburg, Florida is an homage to Chairman Omali Yeshitela, leader of the APSP, who in 1966 ripped down the huge racist mural that hung in St. Petersburg City Hall. Yeshitela was imprisoned for years for this heroic act, and the wall still remains blank to this day. The photo in this screenprinted t-shirt was taken immediately after Yeshitela ripped down the mural in 1966.
Tan bella canvas unisex t-shirt with black waterbased screenprint ink.
